As reported by Authorities, a fire broke out in Bill and Hillary Clinton’s house on their property in Chappaqua, N.Y. on Wednesday.
A Secret Service spokesman, told the Fox News that, the fire spread through the ceiling and on to the second floor in a Secret Service building that was behind the the Clinton’s house.
The man also reported that Bill and Hillary were not at the place of the accident at the time, and there had been no injuries.
According to the New Castle Police, the Westchester County town that includes Chappaqua, said that the fire started on the main property of the couple.
They reported that they received the firs call at 2:51 and at 3:17 they managed to extinguish the fire.
As the Journal News reports, there was at least one ambulance and three firetrucks that came on the place of the accident in response to the emergency call they received from the house. “Emergency vehicles on Old House Lane responding to fire at Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Home in Chappaqua.”
Nick Merrill informed everyone on Twitter that “All is OK!”, and saying that both Hillary and Bill Clinton were not at home.
According to the Secret Service the reason for the fire is unknown, but they said it began in a second-floor-ceiling of the detached building that was behind the house and was used by Clinton’s agents.
Their spokesman Joseph Casey said in his statement,“Fire extinguishers were utilized to suppress the fire and members of the Chappaqua Fire Department responded and inspected the area above the fire to ensure it had been completely extinguished.”
The house in Chappaqua has been the couple’s primary home since they left the White House in 2001. This five-bedroom, 19th-century house cost them $1.7 million.And they’ve bought the four-bedroom house next door, last year as well for $1.16 million.
Whoever started this fire is going to make Hillary very angry. Pray for the soul of that guy!
